Telemedicine at Root & Branch

In light of the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, Root & Branch has set up remote consultation capacity through our HIPAA-compliant, electronic health record system called Unified Practice. UP uses an app called Lifesize that allows patients to connect with their practitioner for a video consultation. This service requires only a connection to the internet with no special downloads or set-up on a home computer and can even be used on mobile devices with the Lifesize app.

In order to make sure your telemedicine appointment is available and to make sure you understand the process of seeing a practitioner digitally, NEW PATIENTS should call the clinic to schedule their appointment at 971-288-5939, Monday-Friday from 9am to 4pm. Returning patients may schedule online here

Special Consultation fees have been established during this difficult time to try and ease the burden of getting the advice and diagnoses you need.
Telemedicine Consultations for new patients will be set at $75 and follow-up consultations for returning or existing patients will be set at $55.
All payments will be processed in the virtual treatment room using your credit card and a secure transaction server.

The best way to get started with our virtual system is to schedule an appointment by calling the clinic during business hours. Once scheduled, you will receive a confirmation email from our electronic health record system that includes a link for you to fill out pre-appointment paperwork. Please fill out the paperwork as soon as possible. You can access your virtual appointment by clicking the link you received in your appointment confirmation email.

You should carve out about 45 minutes for this assessment. After your practitioner makes a diagnosis, they will prescribe a custom herbal formula to address your signs and symptoms. You will receive a text message with a link to pay for your herbs and once they are paid, the formula will be prepared for pick-up or shipping, depending on your preferences. You will receive a second text message when the herbs are ready for pickup or have been shipped.

For existing patients:

You can schedule online by clicking here and selecting “Telemedicine Follow-up” from the menu. You will receive the usual confirmations for your appointment. You can access your virtual appointment by clicking the link you received in your appointment confirmation email.

Once your practitioner has updated your herbs, you will receive a text message with the usual payment link for your herbs. Please pay using the secure link and once we have received your payment, we will prepare the herbs. You will receive a text message when the herbs are ready for pickup or have been shipped.
